Things That Really Irritate Us and Why You Won't Experience Them at Ninth Moon:
- Crappy return policies. Don't you hate it when an item with a 30 day warranty falls apart on the 31 st day?
We guarantee our product line, and will only work with vendors who guarantee theirs. If you feel a product did not live up to your expectations--for any reason--give
us a call. We'll do what we can to make it right. We trust you'll be fair and not return something the dog has accidentally digested . . . and you can trust
us to do what's right.
- Nasty surprises at checkout. U.S. and Canadian customers! Ninth Moon charges
$4.25 shipping and handling for any product order under $40 (per
shipping address).
Orders over $40 ship free, first class or priority mail. (Yes, you read that
right!). And while sales tax (for
Washington State residents) is required, the $4.25 includes everything else,
including earth-friendly packaging. Gift certificates and
downloads, as always, have free delivery. If you're not in
the US or Canada, we'll adjust your shipping--if needed. Don't
worry--we'll contact you first. Many times, we're able to get it you
at a very reasonable cost!
- Customer Service Black Holes. While we'll try to minimize
errors, we know there will be times when something doesn't go right. A
product fails, the postman delivers your package to Alabama instead of
Alaska. But here's my promise: We will do our best to make sure
you are taken care of.
- Use of personal information. Your personal information is just that--personal.
Ninth Moon won't sell it, loan it, give it to anyone.
- Spam. Other than order-related notices, you won't get
unsolicited e-mails from is. Period. We hate it. Our in-boxes are full enough. You know where
our site is located if you want to buy something, right? If you
want to be notified of sales and fun events, you
can "opt in" by checking the box in your account profile.
- Credit card security. We care about this--I mean, really care.
While nothing is 100% hacker proof, we're using the best technology available
to ensure your information stays safe. The process has been certified
to be PCI/CISP compliant, which means the risk of something being
compromised is about the same as sneaking into your sister's top secret
diary and living to see another day. (Well, maybe not quite as good,
but you get the picture). Your card information is handled
over a secure socket layer (encrypted). While "at rest", it's stored for only a
short period of time on a secure sever in an encrypted form, and only
for a short period of time . . . and then it's
deleted. And if there ever is a reason for concern, we'll let you know
right away what we're dealing with. No cover ups. No hanky
panky. In other words, we'll treat you the way we like to be treated.
