Reason #1:  How fast do you want your title?  Inventory is in stock and ships fast (all orders placed before 3:00 PST usually ship the same day).  This includes stock from small publishers, foreign publishers, on-demand print houses.  Our inventory system is on-line--WE HAVE IT ON OUR SHELF.  Many of the big on-line stores don't have this capability.  They "drop ship" from various warehouses or place the order after you do.  Oh, and we ship priority mail.  Which means you can be happily reading your book--furthering your writing career-- while others lurk around the mailbox . . . waiting.

Reason #2:  How about condition?   We have personally experienced not-so-great results with some of the bigger warehouses.  Scratched covers; bent pages, ripped dust jackets.  Especially disappointing if an item is a gift, but still--who wants damaged merchandise? Our stock is inspected upon arrival for any damage and is wrapped before being sent to you.  We take as good of care of your book as we do our own (and we love books!).

Reason #3  Do you care about the environment?  Ninth Moon is a green company, awarded the "gold seal" by the Snohomish County PUD.  Our packaging is recyclable (no dusty, static filled peanuts!).
